Timings to visit Rose Garden is 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Entry Fee is also very affordable 50 Rupees for Adult and Children, you can visit any time in between 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
The area of the rose garden is over 30 acres, Rose Garden is famous for its 50,000 rose bushes of 16,000 species of roses, not only it’s rich in beauty it also provides many herbs which can be used for medical purposes. In February and march the cultural event of Chandigarh take place in rose garden called The Rose festival, people visit Chandigarh to be part of the event, that happens to admire the beauty of roses in garden, The event comes with lots of joy, food, fun activities and contests, they open contest for resident and institutes located near to the garden, which attracts more people to visit the rose garden at the time of the fest.
Over 20,000 people visit the garden at the time of the rose festival, people come to witness the event from all over India, it is the major attraction to all the tourists It is hard to ignore the beauty of the rose garden at the time of the event, the roses, the fountain and the organized bushes, it gives the feeling of early 19s movie sets.
